2301_[4] CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
RESOLVED: The Parish Council meeting minutes of Tuesday 13th December 2022 were confirmed as an accurate record and signed by Chairman.
2301_[5] REPORTS
(a) Chairman’s Report
- Christmas Tree: The Chairman thanked all the volunteers who helped with the Christmas tree including:
- Richard Jordan from Cam Bridge Barn for gifting the Christmas Tree
- Neil and Bev from Old Court Temple Cloud for providing electricity for the lights
- Paul, Kayleigh and Morgan from Paul’s Tree Services for cutting down, delivering, dressing and removing the tree
- Steve Branch from Taylor Plant and Jon Sage and Louika for erecting the tree and removing the tree base
- Dave Wood for arranging and coordinating the volunteers and event
- The Cameley School team captains for switching on the lights
- Philip Edwards for help organising and dressing the tree and Joseph Edwards for help selecting and dressing the tree.
- War Memorial update: The Chairman offered to oversee further progress for the war memorial project.
(b) Clerk’s Report
- A second quotation has been received for painting the village hall. This will form part of overall planning for future improvements of the village hall
- Noted: correspondence listed in the appendix.
- Noted: A new mobile SIM card had been ordered from Lebara using the vodafone network, to be paid automatically on a monthly basis from the council credit card.
(c) Members Reports
- Cllr Box reported on the Thursday morning two-weekly social space event in the village hall. The regular event is planned to start up again in February 2023.
- Village Hall fees were discussed. The Clerk was requested to change payment deadlines for security deposits to at least two weeks prior to the booking.
(d) Pump Track Report:
- Sport England have removed their objection to the pump track planning application.
- Subject to planning permission, Velosolutions expect to start in April/May this year with the pump track build.
