Dear Parish & Town Councils
Thanks to all of you who have agreed to promote Bright Green Homes and Open Green Homes in your local areas (see email below)!
I am keen to make sure that:
- All B&NES households without gas heating get to hear about the funding and support available through Bright green Homes and;
- As many people as possible are aware of the opportunity to visit homes that have carried out energy efficiency improvements in Bath and the Chew Valley in the first weekend of November.
If you are able to help promote these two initiatives in your community please let me know and I can send publicity information (e.g. for newsletter and social media). I prefer that you contact me so that I know the areas being covered as I am also contacting Councillors and community groups.
And if you would like to know more and ask questions you can book onto our lunchtime online briefing session next Wednesday 18th October from 1pm please complete the BOOKING FORM and I will send you a Zoom link.
Best wishes
Nick

Subject: Online briefing sessions on two B&NES energy efficiency initiatives
Dear Parish & Town Councils
Would you be able to help promote two local energy efficiency initiatives this Autumn?
- Bright Green Homes
Funding and support available to owner occupiers and private rented households not on gas heating to install a range of energy efficiency measures and low carbon technologies. Income criteria apply but some post codes are exempt.
For more information go to www.energyathome.org.uk
- Green Open Homes B&NES
An opportunity to visit homes in Bath and the Chew Valley that have installed energy efficiency measures and talk to householders about the installation, costs and benefits. Green Open Homes will take place over the weekend of 4th & 5th November. There are then plans to hold further events in communities across Bath & North East Somerset in 2024.
For more information go to greenopenhomesbanes.org
