Fwd: Bristol Airport event Tuesday 12 September 2023

Dear Parish Clerk,

As the summer holiday period draws to a close, we thought it would be a good time to arrange another Bristol Airport update meeting with local Parish Councils.   Previously we have invited local Parish Councillors and Clerks to meetings at the Airport with various members of the team in attendance.  These events have given Parish Councils the opportunity to meet the Bristol Airport team and gain the latest updates on the Airport activities.  The evening will also provide the opportunity of looking forward and discussing the months ahead.

These sessions are extremely useful in maintaining two-way discussion with Parish Councils and based on attendance levels in previous years, I believe Councillors and Clerks value the chance to meet in an informal environment.

May I take this opportunity to invite Parish Council members and Clerks to join us for drinks and light refreshments on Tuesday 12 September arriving from 6pm for 6.30pm start.  The evening should end by 8pm.

The event will be held in the Bristol Room, Lulsgate House, (directions from A38 follow the signs to Silver Zone with parking available in the Private Car Park (please see attached for map to the Airbus car park, on entrance to the car park it is marked Private Car Park). We will provide a complimentary ticket to exit the car park.

Please circulate this date to Council members and please RSVP as soon as possible to Jacqui Mills so we can arrange catering and car parking passes.
