Please find attached the ‘Outcome of the TRO Advertisement’ Report for the latest proposals within the North East Somerset Area TRO Review 24-022. It contains proposals for new parking restrictions or amendments to existing ones which had been requested by the public, Ward Members, Parish and Town Councils.
The attached reports outline the comments we received from informal consultation with Ward Members, Parish and Town Councils and the police earlier this year, followed by the advertisement of the proposals and a summary of the comments we received from the public. Legally, we only have to invite objections, but we record comments in support of parking proposals too.
This is the last opportunity to comment on these proposed restrictions prior to the final decision being made by the Director of Place Management. The purpose of sending this report at this stage is for you to see any comments made by the public together with any Officer responses, and to give you an opportunity to comment before the report is then sent to the Cabinet Member for Transport for comment, followed by the Director of Place Management.
Please can you email the Traffic Management Team back with any comments that you wish to make or if you have any queries within the next 5 working days so that I can pass these onto the Cabinet Member for Transport.
‘Please note that all comments received will be included in the Officer Decision report, and that this report could become available for public inspection’.
Many thanks for your time and consideration.
Kind Regards
Kris
