I am writing in respect of the Joint Local Access Forum for Bath & North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bristol.
The JLAF is an independent, statutory body which advises public bodies including B&NES Council, South Gloucestershire Council and Bristol City Council on improving public access to land in the area for the purpose of open-air recreation and enjoyment. The JLAF is currently looking to recruit new members and we are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals with a land-manager/farming/landowning background to maintain the balance of different perspectives within the JLAF.
I have attached an application form and if you know of anyone who might be interested in applying to join then I’d be very grateful if you could forward this email to them. Further information about the JLAF can be found here and the deadline for receipt of applications is 9am on Monday 3rd July 2023.
