The Annual Electors Annual Parish Meeting for Temple Cloud with Cameley was held at 7.00pm on Tuesday 16th May 2023 at Temple Cloud Village Hall.
Parish Council members present: Phil Warden (Chairman), Sara Box, David Cottis, Jon Sebright and Mark Wilson
Also present: Philip Edwards (Clerk) and eight members of the public.
1. WELCOME BY CHAIRMAN
A welcome was received from Cllr Warden, Chairman of Temple Cloud with Cameley Parish Council
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE 2022 APM
The minutes for the Annual Parish Meeting held on 10th May 2022 were approved as an accurate record.
3. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
A report was received from Cllr Warden, Chairman of Temple Cloud with Cameley Parish Council
- Significant progress had been made on the pump track. The Chairman thanked all the Parish Council members, including former members, who had worked together to achieve the success of this project. The Chairman thanked the phenomenal number of residents who had supported the project and who had raised funds to complete the project.
- The Chairman recognised and thanked Temple Cloud in Bloom for their work around the village.
- The Chairman reported on work completed in the Village Hall, including improvements to the fabric of the building with repairing the broken circular window in the roof cavity along with new brickwork to replace the old wooden exterior panels, which had been funded by a grant from the National Lottery.
- The Chairman reported on a successful Christmas tree lights switch on event and celebration with mince pies and mulled wine. The Chairman highlighted the need for an entertainment committee of local volunteers from outside the Parish Council to arrange local events with support from the Parish Council.
4. PARISH GRANTS AWARDED IN 2022/23
It was reported that the following grants were awarded by the Parish Council in the 2022/23 Year:
- Temple Cloud in Bloom: £1000
- Clutton with Cameley PCC Grass Cutting: £450
5. UPDATES FROM RESIDENTS AND LOCAL GROUPS
Updates were received from the following residents and local groups to celebrate the successes of the past year and inform electors of plans for the year ahead:
- Temple Cloud in Bloom
- Drama Club for Children
6. REPORT FROM DISTRICT COUNCILLOR
There was no report from District Councillor David Wood.
7. OPEN FORUM
Those present at the meeting raised comments about possible works in the field behind Molly Close to improve the public footpath.

The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.30pm
